Quick update. So the FMI/Bento event at the Emeryville Apple Store went off without a hitch this morning. We had 4 to 5 attendees at the event... All of them being small business looking at various ways of using or upgrading FileMaker. This is a bit light compared to other Apple Store FM events we have done, so I am hoping for more of a turnout at Sacramento, Walnut Creek, and RockRidge. Our fearless leader, Phil Smith, was washed away this morning in the typhoon, so I stepped in provided a one hour small business presentation on FMP, cobbled together from various other presentations I have done. Most of the time we spent demoing FMP 10. Attendee’s seemed very happy with what they learned. Special thanks to Rick Rohner for sponsoring FMI’s attendance at the event. RCC also brought in 3 additional engineers ... aka FileMaker certified Geniuses, not Mac Geniuses :-) So thanks to William Vaughn, Dave Henderson, and Paul Smith.
